Transfer degrees at TVCC are designed to help you start your college journey here and finish at a four-year university. Our Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Arts in Teaching (AAT), and Associate of Arts in Music (AAM) programs include the core courses and recommended electives you need for a smooth transfer—saving you time and money while keeping you on track toward your bachelor’s degree.
For a smooth transfer:
Choose a degree plan with a “Focus” on your intended major.
Check your university’s catalog to see what they require for your first two years.
Meet with an academic advisor to match TVCC courses to your transfer school’s plan.
Keep at least a 2.0 GPA.
Apply to your university early in your final semester and request a TVCC transcript to be sent to your destination institution.
