Key Concepts

Students will explain key concepts of ABA, including reinforcement, prompting, shaping, and data collection, as applied in behavior intervention plans.

Data Collection

Students will gather, chart, and report behavioral data using objective measurement methods in accordance with a behavior intervention plan.

Intervention Strategies

Students will apply intervention strategies designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), including teaching new skills and reducing challenging behaviors.

Ethics and Professionalism

Students will demonstrate understanding of the RBT Ethics Code, including confidentiality, professional boundaries, and responsibility to clients and supervisors.

Communication

Students will use clear and respectful communication when reporting progress, challenges, and observations to supervisors, team members, and caregivers.
