Clinical Medical Assistant OSA

Students will competently execute clinical tasks such as vital sign measurement, phlebotomy, EKG administration, and assisting with minor medical procedures.

Students will use accurate medical terminology and understand anatomy and physiology principles to support effective patient care and documentation.

Students will follow OSHA guidelines, universal precautions, and proper sterilization techniques to ensure a safe clinical environment.

Students will demonstrate clear, respectful communication skills while interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Students will accurately document patient information using EHR software while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
